• Amee Pollack collaborated for 12+ years with writer and artist, Laurie Spitz (1946-2017), creating artwork that ran the gamut from movable & pop-up books to one-of-kind book constructions.  All their work together explored/explores how to tell a story visually through structure, design & text.

• Laurie Spitz was a graduate of University of California at Berkeley and the former Executive Story Editor at 20th Century Fox, Los Angeles.  Her handmade novel, Plane to Nirvana, was developed from one of her essays in The New York Times, starting a new creative path in Book Arts/Collage.
